String Quartet

For over thirty years, the Camarota String Quartet has provided lovely music for weddings and other special events throughout the Delaware Valley. The quartet’s repertoire consists of selections ranging from early Baroque and Classical, to contemporary pieces.

With highly trained musicians and years of professional experience, the Camarota String Quartet looks forward to providing elegant music for your special day!

ADRIANA PARK

Adriana started studying violin at a young age with Frank Costanzo, a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She was a member of the Immaculata Symphony Orchestra when in middle school and was chosen to perform with the PMEA District Orchestra when in High School. During this time she was also member of the prestigious Philadelphia Youth Orchestra. Adriana graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. She has been teaching strings in the pubic schools for more than 30 years. She is also a member of the Chester County Pops Orchestra and Orchestra Concordia. Adriana is the manager and owner of the Camarota String quartet which has been performing for weddings and special occasions for more than 25 years.

BETSY CLARK

Betsy Clark began violin studies at age 9 in Louisville. She performed in the Maryland All-State Orchestra. She attended Temple University where she studied violin with Helen Kwalwasser and viola with Leonard Mogill. She earned a Master’s degree in music education at University of Miami. She has performed with Delaware Symphony, Lansdowne Symphony, Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra among others. She taught music for 34 years and is in the Springfield School District Arts Hall of Fame. She conducted the Delaware Valley Young Musicians Orchestra for 7 years and has guest-conducted the Lansdowne Symphony several times.

GINYOUNG PARK

Ginyoung Lim Park has been studying cello since she was 9 years old, attending “Yea Won art school” from 7th grade. After she moved to USA during her high school years, she continued to study with Harry Gordetzer who was a member of Philadelphia Orchestra.

She went on to graduate from Temple University with a full scholarship for her performance degree. She has been a member of numerous orchestras and string groups, performing at public and private events. She also instructed students for over 30 years.

Ginyoung currently performs as a principal cellist in Orchestra Concordia.

MARYBETH MCCARRICK

Violinist/Violist Marybeth McCarrick has been performing and teaching music in the Philadelphia area for the last 35 years.  Originally from Philadelphia, she earned her undergraduate degree from Chestnut Hill College and then pursued graduate studies at West Chester University as a student of Sylvia Ahramjian. After teaching music in Philadelphia for 15 years, she taught privately and performed locally in the Chester County area while her daughters were young. For the last 15 years, she has been teaching orchestra students in the Lower Merion School District. Marybeth performs in a variety of instrumental ensembles in the area as both a violinist and violist. She enjoys spending time with her daughters Kathleen and Erin and her dog Bentley.
